  • Each student will choose a country in which to follow that Olympic event.

 

  • Each student will be required to complete a Winter Olympic Games project.

  • Students will follow their chosen event on TV coverage, (from home and school) the internet, newspaper articles and magazine articles.

 

  • Students will be able to follow the events on TV coverage at school during health classes.

 

  • Each student will be given guide lines for their research to complete this project. (events, Greek history or the games, record event info. etc.)

 

  • You may choose to have students work as individuals, pair up with one partner, or choose small groups to complete this project.

 

  • You may also do a lesson using Olympic athletes and have students do a research for a report and/or an oral presentation.

  • Drawing of the flag of the country you have chosen to follow
  • Drawing of the Olympic flag
