TENNIS BALL GOLF ......Janet Burns, Las Vegas, Nv.

My students love to play this game:
Set up a course on the field: Use numbered cones with a hula hoop beside
each cone. I vary the distances between the "holes" and add obstacles as well.
Students partner up and share the following: a tennis ball, pencil and
scorecard. ( I make scorecards on index cards). Each set of partners starts at
a different hole; one plays the odd numbered holes, the other the evens. Start
beside the cone and roll the ball to the next hole. Write down how many rolls
it takes to get ball in hoop. When finished the course, total your score. Play
another round with a deck ring or frisbee.
