Hi, my name is Jennifer and I am an Australian student teacher. I would like to introduce you to this very simple but fun game which is very popular in schools over here.

 

Game: "Stuck in the Mud"

 

Age group - right through primary school (elementary school?)

 

It is just like chasies/tag. However when you are tagged you freeze and stand with your legs slightly apart (hence the name "stuck in the mud"). You can only return to the game of tag after one of your class mates crawls through your legs. The game ends when the last person is tagged (i.e. the whole class is stuck in the mud/frozen). The last person to be "stuck in the mud" is "it" for the next game.
