Grade level :3-5
Objective:  Endurance in Jump Roping and Team work.
 
 *First I lay the ropes down from one end of the gym to another designating the last rope to be the "top of the Mountain."  The goal is for the team to get to the top of the mountain.
 
*I divide students into groups of three and each team receives a 15' Jump Rope.  One person will begin jump roping and the two people turning will help count the jumps when the person misses he/she will take an end and the next person will continue to jump and they beginning counting on the number that the previous person missed.  They continue this rotation  for a total time of 5 minutes.  The team that has the highest number will get to move to the top of the Mountain.  Begin the game over again starting at zero.  This game really creates team work and the students get a great workout.
